We are located within a short drive of the Umpqua River.  Bird Hunt and Fish the same day.  Fish on your own or we can point  you in the direction of local guides.   


General Information

                                 NOBLE RIDGE WILD ROSE as a puppy

Our Preserve Hunting Season runs from August 1 through March 31.  

Choose from guided with our dogs or non guided hunts with your own dogs.

We usually book just one hunt per day.  We'll sometimes book small hunts back to back in the same day.   You will have the hunting area to yourself.    Youth 16 & under hunt free with paid adult.  Must have hunters safety course certificate. 

License Requirements:  A license is required to hunt on Oregon Preserves. You may use a valid Oregon State Hunting License with Upland Game Bird Stamp or a Preserve hunting license. Preserve licenses for residents are $4.50. Out of State is $10.50.  These are good to use at any preserve in Oregon through March 31.   You can purchase a preserve license from us before your hunt.   

Amenities include a portable toilet at hunting site, ample parking for RVs, bass fishing ponds, occasional duck & goose hunting, over night accomodations for 5 with full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with bath. Under cover dog kennel area next to apartment.  Our new indoor bird cleaning station has been completed for cold weather use.    Large barn at the hunting site for hunters to rest, eat lunch etc with picnic tables, bird cleaning area and water.  Propane heater and campfire ring during cold weather.  Dog watering pans all around the hunting area.  Large stock tank by barn for dogs to cool off in. 

Our 342  acre ranch offers seclusion for your hunt Only one hunt at a time booked at the ranch.  Noble Ridge offers various terrain.  Hunting areas are flat, rolling or steep with natural ditches. You choose what you like.  Spring wheat, triticale and Pheasants Forever mix food plots were planted spring 09.   Winter wheat to be planted fall 09. We hope to keep improving habitat each year. We have added an additional 8 acres of CRP to the hunting area that we are working on removal of berrys.   We have also added on a covered picnic/resting area to our hay barn.  With this being our second year we will continue to make improvements.  If you are in our area give us a call.  We would be happy to show you around. 

Directions: We are located 50 miles south of Eugene and 20 miles north of Roseburg right off I-5.   Take Exit #142 Metz Hill.  If coming from the north turn left at freeway stop sign and if coming from the south turn right so you will be on the east side of the freeway.  You will then be on Goodrich Hwy.  Go approximately 2 1/4 miles on Goodrich Hwy to our ranch.  We will be on the left.  Mailbox says Noble Ridge Ranch on it and our address is 2386.  White fence by driveway.

We are planning a Grif x Rose AKC litter for spring 2010. Now taking deposits.  Both dogs have very friendly personalities, super noses, great pedigrees and love to hunt.   See their individual pages for more info on these wonderful German Shorthair Pointers.
