Noble Ridge is located near historic Oakland in SW Oregon and is situated on 342 acres of rolling grass land, just 2 miles off Interstate 5. We are now in our third year of providing personable and enjoyable hunts to our clients. Noble Ridges one party at a time hunting gives you the privacy you have been looking for. You have your choice of hunting flat, rolling or steep terrain with natural ditches. Areas planted to winter wheat, triticale and milo. Our goal is to make your Oregon game bird hunting experience as NATURAL as possible. Additional CRP acreage added for the 10/11 season.
Our 20,000 plus sq. feet of flight pens guarantee healthy, strong flying birds. 4 ponds provide occasional wild duck and goose hunting in the winter and bass fishing the other seasons.
Since we are a licensed preserve we are open for hunting from August 1 through March 31 with no limit on pheasant and chukar taken.
On site lodging located at the ranch and also ample free parking for RVs.
With the late spring rains that we have had the plant growth and bird cover on the preserve is abundant! One patch of Triticale stands 6 ft tall. We also planted winter wheat last fall and more triticale this spring. Water sources and automated feeding stations help the wild bird population as well as retain released birds on our ranch. Our new indoor bird cleaning station is complete and ready for use. The big hay barn at the preserve site offers covered picnic tables to rest between hunts along with an improved bird cleaning area there. Campfire ring and propane heaters available during cold season hunts. A new addition for the 10/11 season is the use of bird launchers for training sessions.
Our greatest pleasure is to see a good bird dog "hunt" for the birds. With the cover we have this year it is a true hunting experience.
Take the Metz Hill exit # 142 off of I-5 then go 2.2 miles east on Goodrich Hwy.
