Noble Ridge, one of Oregons newer upland game bird preserves, is located near historic Oakland in SW Oregon. Situated on 342 acres of rolling grass land, just 2 miles off Interstate 5, is Douglas Counties first and only licensed preserve of this kind. You have your choice of hunting flat, rolling or steep terrain with natural ditches. Our goal is to make your Oregon game bird hunting experience as NATURAL as possible. Noble Ridges one party at a time hunting gives you the privacy you have been looking for. Additional CRP acreage added for the 10/11 season.
Our 20,000 plus sq. feet of flight pens guarantee healthy, strong flying birds. 4 ponds provide wild duck and goose hunting in the winter and bass fishing the other seasons.
Since we are a licensed preserve we are open for hunting from August 1 through March 31 with no limit on pheasant and chukar taken.
On site lodging located at the ranch and also ample free parking for RVs.
Planted spring 09 are food plots of spring wheat, triticale and a Pheasants Forever plant mix. Water sources and automated feeding stations help the wild bird population as well as retain released birds on our ranch. Our new indoor bird cleaning station is complete and ready for use. The big hay barn at the preserve site offers covered picnic tables to rest between hunts. Campfire ring and propane heaters available during cold season hunts.
Take the Metz Hill exit # 142 off of I-5 then go 2.2 miles east on Goodrich Hwy.
